Meta Data Deletion Instructions

How to disconnect Meta Ads from NoClutterCRM and request deletion of Meta Platform Data stored by the service.

Effective 22 August 2026 Questions? support@nocluttercrm.com

These instructions explain how to stop NoClutterCRM from accessing your Meta business assets and how to request deletion of Meta Platform Data retained in your NoClutterCRM workspace. They apply to the Meta Ads connection provided by the NoClutterCRM app.

What these instructions cover

When an authorised workspace user connects Meta Ads, NoClutterCRM receives the Meta account identity and permissions shown during consent. The service stores an encrypted access token, selected business asset identifiers and names, imported or created advertising records, delivery metrics, and the local configuration needed to operate and report on campaigns for the selected brand.

Disconnect Meta Ads

  1. Sign in to NoClutterCRM and select the brand whose Meta connection you want to remove.
  2. Open Ad Campaigns.
  3. Under Default Meta assets, choose Disconnect.
  4. Repeat this for any other NoClutterCRM brand that uses the same Meta authorisation.

Disconnecting immediately clears the encrypted token for that brand and stops future Meta synchronization or campaign actions from NoClutterCRM. If no other brand in the workspace uses the same authorisation, NoClutterCRM also asks Meta to revoke it. You can independently remove the NoClutterCRM app from your Facebook settings to revoke the grant at Meta.

Disconnecting is not a deletion request. Existing campaign history remains visible in NoClutterCRM so authorised workspace users can retain an operational and audit record.

Request data deletion

To request deletion, email support@nocluttercrm.com from the email address associated with your NoClutterCRM account. Use the subject Meta data deletion request and include your workspace name and the affected brand name. Do not send your Facebook password, Meta access token, customer list, or advertising account credentials.

We will verify that the requester is authorised to act for the workspace before deleting data. If the request concerns data controlled by a NoClutterCRM customer, we may refer the request to that workspace owner or ask them to confirm it.

What we delete

After verification, the deletion covers Meta Platform Data associated with the requested connection, including where applicable:

What may be retained

We may retain the minimum information required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, financial records, and proof that access was revoked or a deletion request was completed. This may include privacy-safe audit events that do not contain an access token or raw customer-list identifiers. Residual copies in protected backups expire under our backup-retention schedule and are not restored for ordinary product use.

Data held by Meta

A NoClutterCRM deletion request removes the corresponding data stored by NoClutterCRM. It does not delete campaigns, ads, audiences, billing information, or other records held in your Meta business account. Manage those records in Meta or contact Meta directly. Removing data from NoClutterCRM also does not cancel advertising that is already active in Meta; pause or delete active delivery objects in Meta before removing access when necessary.

Confirmation and timing

We acknowledge verified requests and normally complete them within 30 days, subject to applicable legal retention requirements and backup expiry. We will send confirmation to the verified requester when the active-service deletion is complete or explain any information that must be retained and why.
